Bridging the Harbor

Traveling by water is one of the most iconic ways to experience Hong Kong. Whether you are crossing the water on the legendary Star Ferry to marvel at the dazzling Victoria Harbour night view or embarking on a relaxing escape to the outlying islands—most of which are just a scenic hour’s sail away—the sea is your ultimate highway. Thankfully, the city’s major ferry networks are highly accommodating to passengers with limited mobility. By knowing which decks to target and what to expect at the piers, you can smoothly navigate the waves and experience the best of Hong Kong completely barrier-free.
